Flikkers Queer Film Festival was established in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic by a small team of people with the aim of bringing LGBTQ+ community members together to watch Queer films. As we are often misrepresented in the media, the team at Flikkers aims to provide a platform for films that are representative of our fantastically diverse community.
For our first festival in 2021, we will be going virtual due to the pandemic with the hope of holding our first physical event in 2022.
Flikkers Queer Film Festival is committed to sharing stories by & about marginalised members of the LGBTQ+ community and we aim to create a programme that is representative of the whole community.
Flikkers Queer Film Festival is a non-profit event run entirely by volunteers.
